i like the color grey but not the greyness outside. and with this snow, ugh. but yes, you are right, we cannot deny the color around it. sometimes i am just up all night thinking and your painting reminds me of how i feel. i am the black line trying to go straight ahead but so much color and business around me is both great and yet distracting. i hope you do find rest tonight.
Once in a while the black shows up but it can't stop all the colors around it. We can't defeat something unless we can acknowledge it's existence.
